From Agritur Malga Cere in Val Calamento descend first along an easy dirt road and then part of an asphalt road to Ponte del Salton. From there descend to the Maso torrent and then climb the whole of the Val Campelle up to the Agritur Malga Casarina, one of the many shepherd huts in this valley which still produces cheeses in the traditional manner.

Climbing a steep, but not difficult, path you then reach the forest road which in less than an hour takes you to Rifugio Malga Conseria, in the lee of the Cinque Croci Pass, which from its altitude of 1821m dominates the whole valley below.
